diary1.jpg

The 1986 diary of a streoid user. 39 pages chocked full of stories of steroid use, hair transplants and various girlfriends that he meets through personal ads. From the diary

"Read some of the Shyness book. Have read so many self-help books but have never made much progress with them. The valium and corgard have helped me tho. It's so hard to actually change my personality. Still feeling very attracted to the girls at work but haven't been getting anywhere with either one. maybe one of these days I'll get Lisa to go out wth me. She's so cute and has a sexy butt".

The diary is a facinating glimpse into the mind of a man who will do anything to change who he actually is.

Crapola.

This fine painting I found a few years back at Swap-O-Rama Flea Market. It hung on the wall of my apartment for many years. I had one girlfriend of mine who insisted that I take it down. She said it really creeped her out. We had an arguement about what qualifies as good art. It didn't end well. I ended up breaking up with her and keeping the painting.

Now, I think it needs a new home.

Signed "Virginia 1972".

This kid will give you nightmares

Grant Park

Last night
Got on the bicycle (gotta at least try to be healthy)
Rode from the studio space to see the fireworks
The police shut down Lake Shore Drive from Roosevelt north
There were fences along The Drive
Kept everyone off the road
Everyone but me and a couple of other riders
We had that road to ourselves
Amazing view. Amazing night.
I had New Order, Ceremony playing on the iPod
And The Drive was all mine
